You wait for a post for ages… and then three come along at the same time

A few weeks ago, I joined The Daily Telegraph private group on Facebook. I don't belong to many groups and certainly don't post in many.

All went well. Lots of likes, comments and a group that engaged, was critical, without being nasty (unlike my personal feed where, seemingly, it's ok to insult someone if they have centre-right views.

So I was quite shocked when the 12-year-olds who act as admins took down one of my posts without letting me know why. The subject matter was not without controversy, being a reflection on why BLM and virtue-signalling was OK at a time when everyone was being asked to stay at home and social distance. It also asked why our police should be “taking the knee” and I concurred with Dominic Raab that it was an inappropriate gesture more reminiscent of Game of Thrones than the United Kingdom.

To be clear, my heritage is mixed – Indian (Dad was born in New Delhi), English. and German. So I know about racism from all sides – not coloured enough for the rabid Left-wing hordes, not white enough for the rest. But having lived in different countries, including Germany and France, I can say categorically, that Britain, whilst not perfect, is one of the most welcoming, inclusive, non-racist countries in the world. Yes, there's a way to go, but rioting and cultural vandalism as seen in Bristol and London is over-the-top and reeks of white guilt – in itself a eurocentric endeavour.

So I'm not racist. I don't advocate for racist groups, but I do like to draw attention to groups like BLM who, whilst you can't argue with the acronym, are a political anti-capitalist movement. So suspect and worthy of criticism.

I asked publicly in the group why my post was taken down and no-one bothered to answer. So I decided to revive this blog, that never really got going due to life taking over.

I will try to keep this one going. There's lots to talk about on the right-wing agenda and this blog does, after all, champion everything that is not Radical Left – which doesn't mean I won't take a dig at the Right's holy grails, and then feel free to disagree heartily in the comments 🙂

As I said in my first post, I won't be censoring unless it's extreme. I don't like extremists.
